Hello readers!
As you are aware I am Vice President of Feds for Freedom (F4F) and Liberty Lad is the vehicle I often use to send informative articles on freedom advances … or attacks on freedom … that affect you. I have been working behind the scenes to update some companion websites, as well as prepare for three big projects that I hope will be complimentary and support the work at F4F. Stay tuned and more to come on that front.
Best practice when you want to know more about F4F is to first peruse the F4F website and get your information there, but it never hurts to have a back-up…
Anything directly related to F4F, its litigation activity, and its vital work will always be available to F4F supporters here on Liberty Lad, with the exception of material reserved for tiered members. That promise extends in perpetuity, but you will get far more support by simply becoming member of F4F.
I can’t emphasize how important it is you become a tiered member at F4F.
There are two tiers at F4F and both come with additional benefits not afforded those who have only signed up to receive the newsletter and updates. You get even less, in a less timely manner if you are waiting for me to repost material on this Substack.
In my role as VP of F4F, I have been sending individual emails to every single person who is a current F4F supporter or was at one point in the past from my F4F email account. Only about 750 have received those emails so far; however, every single person will receive a point-to-point email. Expect to see them if you haven’t yet.
I have also been checking every single email to determine if the individual F4F member has ever contacted us directly before sending out my correspondence. I believe it is important to make sure we have done everything possible to 1) answer member questions, and 2) make sure members know their voice is being heard.
As you can imagine, this is a bit of a time consuming process… The research and drafting of the emails are part of the reason I have had a lull in posts on Liberty Lad. My apologies, but promise the posts will continue in short order and I wanted my supporters here to know why they’ve been delayed.
I have another motive… I want to ensure every single member knows that our move from strictly medical freedom issues to a focus on accountability, integrity, and reform is not a broadening of our objectives. Our change from Feds for Medical Freedom to F4F is actually a tightening and scoping that will address core issues that caused the outrageous executive overreach resulting from EOs 14042 and 14043.
I am not going to regurgitate the contents of the emails I have been sending out to F4F members, and some are unique conversations based on the history of F4F’s relationship with the member, but I am going to provide a short recap here.
If you have friends who are F4F members who are not receiving updates, please forward this message and let them know they should sign up for F4F. My substack offers additional complimentary information, but this space is reserved for my personal commentary on a variety of related freedom, government, and cultural issues.
Well, except for this post. This short commentary is a direct call for support for F4F and outreach to potential new members in my role as VP for F4F.
Not all of you are F4F members, but many are… so reach out to your F4F network to make sure they go to the F4F website and contact the board for more information.
One last thing… Please also let your friends from F4F know that if they used a .gov email address with F4F… and there were almost 150… tell them to sign back up with a personal email address. It is not really an issue… F4F is on the Combined Financial Campaign (CFC) schedule, but it is probably best to interact with the organization from a personal email address.
Why did F4F refocus their efforts?
F4F wants to move beyond litigation focusing on medical freedom. We certainly want to follow through and ensure we put a nail in the coffin of vaccine mandates, but as you all are acutely aware, the mandates were caused by systematic failure at every level of government. The failures aren’t confined to medical issues. There is a better than average chance that those failures will contribute to other future problems. What are the failures?
Moral leadership;
Constitutional violations;
Adherence to the Administrative Procedure Act;
Failure to publish agency-specific policy;
Accountability for their actions;
Integrity;
Willingness to engage in reform.
What are the other important highlights?
We still need volunteers. There have been some very active members over the last two years and they are the quiet group of professionals that have kept the engine running. If you would like to volunteer at F4F please use this link.
We still need donations, and although we have raised a lot of money to pursue litigation, we have been operating in the red. As I stated before, please become a tiered member, but barring that, one-time or recurring donations are always welcome. There are some additional goodies that come with the Presidential tier, but those details should come directly from F4F.
F4F has also refocused fundraising on finding big donors. If you know deep pocket donors, please feel free to connect them with the F4F board.
We have new social media developments and have been processing a lot of FOIAs. These information requests help feed our litigation and administrative action, but they are also valuable for our social media posts. Again, volunteers could really help streamline these efforts.
Expect more local chapter events over the next year and expect F4F to coordinate and cooperate with other federal, state, and local level organizations with overlapping goals. F4F is tentatively planning the next big event for Arizona.
There are other updates, but … you’ll have to go to F4F to get them. I will close by saying our podcast has released a number of episodes and we encourage you to listen. I have included the interview with Dr. Kathleen Ruddy for your listening pleasure.
Sally forth!
